Social Welfare Officer to Authority SoL/LSS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are currently seeking a new colleague at Authority SoL/LSS. As a social welfare officer with us, you will contribute to ensuring that our clients receive services approved in a legally secure manner. We work with a quality-conscious approach, focusing on the individual.
In our unit, we handle applications within the areas of LSS and the Social Services Act. We are divided into two teams, with seven social welfare officers working with LSS for adults/children and five social welfare officers working with social psychiatry/home care. In your work with us, you will participate in planning and coordinating services and collaborate with providers and other partners.
The Authority SoL/LSS unit belongs to the department of Common Authority, health care, and administration. Currently, a change process is underway to facilitate our clients in receiving the right services at the right time, and you as an employee will participate in this work together with your unit and the rest of the administration.
QUALIFICATIONS
You need to have:
- A degree in social work or another qualification that the employer assesses as equivalent, knowledge of social law is a requirement.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills as high demands are placed on communication and documentation.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience in working with public authority enforcement.
- Knowledge of the operational systems Procapita and Lifecare as well as the IBIC working method.
As a social welfare officer, you are structured, meticulous, and have good collaboration skills as the role involves cooperation between different authorities, providers, clients/relatives. You have the ability to work independently, take responsibility, and find it easy to function in a team. We see that you have a positive attitude, are creative, and flexible.
